En el marco del 8M, nos acercamos al fenómeno de la prostitución y el delito de trata, realidades muy complejas que se cruzan en la vulneración de los derechos de las mujeres y precisan intervención desde este enfoque de derechos. Las organizaciones de REDES trabajan en todos los procesos de este ámbito, desde la prevención en terreno, la atención y acogida a las víctimas, hasta la denuncia y el cambio legislativo, pasando por la investigación. En esta jornada queremos dialogar sobre estos distintos esfuerzos y fomentar la interrelación de las organizaciones implicadas.
Contaremos con Cristina Ramírez, responsable de Trata de las Oblatas del S. Redentor, para enmarcar el tema en su doble perspectiva local y global. Cristina tiene experiencia en el acompañamiento a las víctimas de trata en Sevilla, y ha participado en espacios de incidencia como la Comisión para la Condición Jurídica y Social de la Mujer (CSW62, 2018) del ECOSOC de ONU.
Por otra parte, Beatriz García de la Torre, coordinadora de la Fundación Serra-Schönthal, presentará el estudio que vienen realizando desde 2020 sobre la expansión de la trata y prostitución en el ámbito virtual, y María Llinás, coordinadora de la Fundación Kambia, nos acercará a proyectos de desarrollo que inciden en la prevención de la trata en los páises de origen, en concreto el modelo comunitario de prevención de la trata en India.
La jornada se celebrará el miércoles 15 de marzo de 16h a 18.30h en la sede de la Fundación Pueblos Hermanos (C/Laurel 6).
